Emphasising Supporting Information Using
~し ~し
The ~し~し pattern can be used to add emphasis to information.
- It can be used by itself (~し), or in series.
- Overusing it detracts from the effect.
- Twice should suffice.
EXAMPLES
やすいし、ひつようだし、買いましょう。(The supporting information is in the plain form.)
- It's cheap, what's more, it's necessary, let's buy it!
まっ茶は、体にいいですし、おいしいですし、ぜひ飲んでみてください。
(The supporting information is in the desu/masu form.)

- Mattcha is good for your body, and what's more, it's delicious, by all means, please try it!
