Come and visit!
The verb-stem + に いきます ／ に きます means ‘go’ (いきます) or ‘come’ (きます) to do something.
  • e.g. たべ   に   いきます = go to eat.
かんこうきゃく は、(カフェ  に)  ケーキ を  たべ  に  行きます。
  • Tourists go (to cafes) to eat cake.
ぼく は、(としょかん  に)  本 を  よみ に  行きます。
  • I go (to the library) to read books.
みんな は、(うみ  に)  すいえい を  し に  きます。
  • Everyone comes (to the beach) to swim.
Finding the verb stem from the ます form
Finding the verb stem from the ます form is easy. Just remove the ます, and what's left is the verb stem.
e.g. 
  • Verb = します
    Verb stem = し　　　　しに行きます - go to do (something)
  • Verb = たべます
    ​Verb stem = たべ　　　たべに行きます - go to eat (something)
  • Verb = みます
    ​Verb stem = み　　　　みに行きます - go to see (something)
  • Verb = のみます
    ​Verb stem = のみ　　　のみに行きます - go to drink (something)
